Description

The Hobart 292909-3 Vacuum Breaker is a 1/2" NPT atmospheric backflow prevention part intended to be used in commercial foodservice plumbing systems. It has a rating of 125 PSI and a maximum temperature of 180°F and is placed in the water supply line to ensure that potable water is not contaminated. It works by permitting the air to pass into the line in case there is a pressure drop to capture any vacuum condition that might lead to back-siphoning.
