Description

The Hobart 420498 SJ Thermostat is a mechanical thermostat for use in commercial cooking equipment. It can be used over a temperature range of 175F to 550F and features a 3/16" diameter, 11-5/8" sensing bulb attached to a 42" capillary. It is placed at the temperature sensing point and senses any changes in the heat of the appliances and sends the thermal response through the capillary. The thermostat then regulates the electrical contacts and heating circuit that is connected to it and used to control the heat input and keep the desired operating temperature.
