Description

The Hobart 498344-A Pilot Gas Safety Valve Kit, which has 1/4" FPT gas hook-ups and 1/8" FPT pilot ports is a secure control system of commercial cooking appliances. It works by permitting the gas to pass when a steady pilot flame is detected using the thermocouple, and then automatically switches the gas off in case the flame is extinguished. It is installed as an element in the appliance and operates with ignition and sensing elements to ensure that the startup and burner operations are performed properly. This valve assembly is secure and accurate in operation.
