The Henny Penny 63337 Pilot Safety Valve CCT is a gas control part that is used to control the fuel supply to the burners in commercial cooking equipment. The valve has a 1/2" female pipe thread main gas connection and a 1/4" compression pilot outlet to the pilot tubing assembly. It is operated with a thermocouple which detects the pilot flame and controls the valve to keep it open only when a stable flame exists. It is usually used in pressure gas-fired systems that require accurate gas flow and automatic shut-off for accurate cooking in the kitchen.
