Description

The Hobart 718326 Pilot Safety Valve controls the flow of gas to the unit system and automatically stops the supply if the flame is extinguished. It operates by sensing the pilot flame through a thermocouple connection and allowing gas to pass only when the flame is present. Featuring a 1/2" FPT connection and a 1/4" CCT fitting, this valve is installed within the gas supply system of compatible commercial cooking equipment. It forms part of the pilot ignition assembly, regulating gas flow during startup and appliance operation.
