Description

The Hobart 80016-11 Steam Trap removes condensate from the piping network while retaining active vapor within the circulation path. It works through an internal temperature or pressure-responsive mechanism that identifies accumulated condensate and automatically discharges it while limiting steam escape. Installed within the condensate drainage section of compatible steam systems, it connects through a 1/2" MPT threaded fitting and connects to the return or discharge line. This arrangement maintains efficient steam flow, reduces moisture buildup in the piping network, and supports consistent heat transfer performance during continuous operation.
