Description

The Hobart 880016-11 Steam Trap 1/2" MPT removes condensate from the piping network while retaining active vapor within the circulation path. It works through an internal temperature or pressure-responsive mechanism that detects accumulated condensate and automatically releases it while minimizing steam loss. Installed within the condensate drainage section of compatible steam systems, it connects through a 1/2" MPT threaded fitting and integrates with the return or discharge line. This configuration maintains proper steam circulation, reduces moisture formation within the piping network, and supports consistent heat transfer performance during continuous operation.
