The Hobart 833220 Thermostat senses temperature changes and controls the heating cycle by responding to the temperature detected at the sensing bulb. The sensing bulb measures 1/4 inch by 14-7/8 inches, while the capillary measures 48 inches making sure temperature changes at the sensing location reach the control mechanism properly. It is meant for installation in commercial cooking equipment where the bulb is placed in the heated area and the capillary is attached to the unit exterior.
