The Delfield 3516173-S Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Guard Plastic 6-7/8" DIA This is a protective airflow component designed to fit over and protect the evaporator fan blade but still allow free passage of air across the coils in the compatible commercial refrigeration units. It assists in keeping the air flowing during normal cooling processes and avoids the contact of the rotating fan with the surrounding parts or human beings. The plastic guard is installed on the evaporator assembly in the refrigerated compartment and is positioned over the fan space and has mounting points.
