The Pitco P5047540 Thermocouple is a temperature sensor element of commercial gas fryers in the 1900 Series HD cooking systems produced. This component produces a signal of 20-30 millivolts when hot, which can be used to keep the gas valve open whenever the burner is operating normally. This 24" thermocouple which is commonly used in restaurant and institutional kitchens, is an essential part of the fryer safety circuit, allowing the gas flow to be shut off in case the pilot flame is not detected, allowing the fryer to operate safely in the normal in cooking cycle.
