The Frymaster 8073680 High Limit Thermostat Manual Reset 450°F uses the temperature of the oil in the fryer to control the heating system and discontinue the heating process when the temperature reaches an unsafe level. It works by turning off the heating system when the preset limit is attained to avoid overheating when it is in operation. This manual reset thermostat is installed in the internal control assembly of the fryer, close to the heating elements or burner area to detect the level of temperature in the commercial kitchens.
