The TurboChef 102012 Interlock Switch is an electrical contact that is opened or closed by a door or panel motion with an internal actuator and contacts rated at 16 A/250 VAC with 3/16" tab connections. The contacts of the switch are switched to permit or interrupt power flow when the associated access point is closed and the reverse when it is opened to control a safety or operational circuit. It is mounted in the access system of compatible ovens and cooking appliances, where it is mounted such that the door or panel will contact the actuator.
