The Amana 14179126 Interlock Switch and Fuse Block Kit connects the electrical circuit, and when the door is opened or when a fault has been detected, the interlock switch is used to open the circuit with the fuse block containing protective fuses. Upon the activation of the switch or the blowing of a fuse, the circuit is opened to prevent the flow of current as per the design of the system. This kit is installed within the control section of the compatible commercial cooking appliances and is mounted close to the access door and electrical panel.
