The Blodgett 35193 Oven Door Micro Switch Kit used to monitor the open or closed state of oven door to turn on and off power and safety functions. It operates using a small electrical switch that open and close circuit depending on door movement so that the oven is only on when it is properly closed. This kit is placed inside oven door assembly which is usually placed close to the hinge or the latch mechanism where it is essential in the coordination of electrical and safety functions during operation.
