The Cleveland FA05002-37 O-Ring is used to provide a seal between surfaces by compressing to block the flow of liquids or gases. Under pressure, it bends and when the joint is released, it bends back to shape with even contact along the seal surface. The ring is fitted in a machined groove in the assembly of equipment, between connected parts where a tight seal is needed. It is designed to fit into specific channels and connects to metal or plastic components, and is made to standard size. Its circular shape is simple, and therefore can be installed without disrupting the sealing area.
