The Southbend 1160205 Pressure-Regulator Natural Gas 3/4" 5" WC is used to stabilize the flow of natural gas entering a cooking appliance to keep the amount of pressure steady. It works by automatically modulating the flow of gas to produce a constant water column of 5 inches to make sure that the appliance does not work outside its operating pressure range. This pressure regulator is normally installed between the main gas connection and the inlet to the appliance on the gas supply line of commercial kitchen equipment like ovens, ranges or fryers to provide proper delivery of gas and safe operation of the system.
