The Pitco P5047213 High Limit Thermostat at 450’F of temperature attainment will shut off the heating circuit. It has a design of LCH type with a manual reset feature, and a 5/16 inch nickel sensing bulb reports temperature accurately. In the fryer control system, wiring and security controls report in case of overheating and also prevent equipment damage. What it does is it monitors for high temps. This high-limit thermostat is a key element in the secure and consistent performance of commercial kitchen systems.
