Description

The Scotsman 16113001 Thermal Expansion Valve Sweat is a control part for refrigeration for compatible equipment. It controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator, depending on the operating conditions of the refrigeration system. It has sweat connections that are specified at 1/4” x 1/2” which will operate as the designated connection points in the refrigerant circuit. It is placed between the high-pressure liquid side and the evaporator and will lower refrigerant pressure and dose refrigerant into the evaporator. This controlled flow supports the heat transfer process that is necessary for ice production.
