Description

The Scotsman SC16-1130-01 Thermal Expansion Valve Sweat is a metering part for use in commercial systems. It regulates the amount of refrigerant that is delivered to the evaporator and lowers the pressure prior to refrigerant entering the coil. It has 1/4″ and 1/2″ sweat connections that give the required interfaces to be installed inside the refrigeration piping. It is used to control the flow of refrigerant through the evaporator during operation based on the system conditions. It enables the refrigeration circuit to meet the heat exchange needs during ice production.
