The Southbend SOU1099002 Pilot Adjustment Valve is a gas control system that is installed to regulate the delivery of pilot flames in compatible commercial cooking equipment. It is meant to control the flow of pilot gas to enable the burner to ignite and operate steadily in appliances. The valve is attached to the gas train of the appliance, and when servicing or calibrating the appliance, it is fitted to pilot tubing and supply fittings. It will assist in the attainment of safe startup operation and constant heating operation in the whole cooking system with proper pilot adjustment.
