Description

The Southbend SOU1174340 Pilot Safety Valve with Reducer Bush controls gas flow to the pilot assembly and interrupts the supply if the pilot flame is extinguished. It operates through a flame-sensing safety mechanism that responds to heat from the pilot source and manages gas passage through the 1/2" x 3/4" FPT inlet and outlet connections. This component is commonly installed in commercial systems and other gas-heated kitchen equipment where pilot flame supervision and controlled gas supply are required. The included reducer bush supports compatibility with specified piping configurations and assists with proper connection between gas supply lines and burner systems.
