The Imperial 36017 Thermocouple W/Nut 18" M10 This detects the heat of a pilot flame and produces a small electrical signal the gas valve opens when it is operational. The loss of the flame causes the signal to be stopped, and the gas supply is turned off from flowing. This is placed close to the assembly, and the threaded part of it is attached to the gas control with the M10 nut. The 18-inch lead is routable inside the equipment to the connection of the valve. It is widely applied in commercial cooking components that need flame-sensing control.
