The Cleveland KE54941-2 Kettle Safety Valve 3/4" X 3/4" regulates the release of pressure in a kettle system by automatically opening when the pressure in the system hits a predetermined threshold. It avoids the accumulation of pressure by forcing the surplus steam or air out of the vessel when it is in operation. This valve is fitted on the steam or pressure line of the kettle at a specific relief outlet to provide the right balance in the system and to provide safe conditions of operation during the cooking process.
