The Vulcan Hart VH00-412788-00048 Thermocouple 48" is an electrical signal that is produced when a pilot flame heats the component and which permits gas flow to be open when it is in operation. Once the fire is out, the signal is sent to stop the flow of gas to prevent the release of unignited gas. This part is placed next to the pilot assembly of compatible gas cooking equipment. The assembly is applied in commercial kitchen appliances that require flame-sensing control to ensure proper gas control.
