The Vulcan Hart VH410840-2 Hi-Limit Thermostat operates through temperature monitoring and control functions. The thermostat turns off the heating element automatically when the appliance reaches 450°F to avoid overheating. A 30" capillary tube in the part provides accurate temperature detection for precise thermal regulation. The thermostat resets after temperature reaches a safe level which enables regular appliance operation. The procedure safeguards equipment from heat-related damage.
