The Hoshizaki 3U0111-04 Ice Dispenser Water Inlet Valve 60Hz 120V operates its internal passage by opening and closing the solenoid coil when an electrical signal is applied to it, permitting water to flow into the machine only during specific fill cycles. Application of voltage causes the valve seats to move to allow water to flow and then close upon termination of the cycle to halt the flow. It is installed in the water supply line of the compatible ice machines or refrigeration units, usually close to the outside water connection.
