The Hobart 00-718326 Pilot Safety Valve With 1/2" FPT and 1/4" CCT is a gas control component designed to manage flame operation in commercial cooking equipment. It operates by allowing gas flow to the burner only, when the pilot flame is present, shutting off the supply if the flame is extinguished. This valve is installed in the gas supply line of ovens, ranges or broilers where pilot ignition systems are used. Working as part of the appliances safety and gas control system it regulates, gas delivery and prevents unburned gas from entering the equipment.
