The Montague 01028-6 Pilot Safety Valve is a commercial gas safety component that controls the flow of pilot gas and adds to the safety features of the equipment it fits. It allows gas to flow when the pilot flame is present and shuts the gas supply off automatically when the flame runs out. This valve mounts in the gas line of the appliance with 1/2" FPT and 1/4" CCT connections. It provides proper control over the pilot flame and effective regulation of gas with steady operation of the equipment.
