Description

The Montague 01217-3 Infrared Burner with Wire Mesh Screen is a gas burner that uses a wire mesh screen to mix the gas and air and then ignites the mixture to produce infrared heat for cooking. The wire mesh screen spreads the flame over the burner surface so that heat is radiated evenly to the cooking area. This component is usually mounted under cooking surfaces, broilers or grates in commercial cooking equipment where infrared heat is needed. It is also used in the production of radiant energy for searing, grilling and other food preparation methods in commercial kitchens.
