Description

The Montague 01217-9 Infrared Burner W/Wire Mesh Screen is a gas burner that evenly distributes gas over its surface and ignites it to generate radiant heat through the built-in wire mesh screen. The mesh screen heats up and radiates infrared energy that transfers heat directly to surfaces in the immediate vicinity, without depending exclusively on the air temperature around the screen. This layout ensures uniform heat output throughout the burners size when it is running. The burner is positioned in the burner compartment of the cooking equipment usually placed under the cooking surface and connected to the gas supply.
