The Garland 1017514 Thermostat is a temperature controller designed to be used in compatible commercial ovens. It is designed with a 1/2" NPT connection, and it controls the flow of gas or electrical heating cycles to keep the temperatures in the range of 150° to 550° Fahrenheit. This thermostat is installed in the control assembly of the oven and is linked to a temperature-sensing element mounted in the interior of the oven to make the appliance react properly to the settings. In the commercial kitchens and foodservice operations, it assists in the accurate heat control of baking, roasting, and cooking.
