Description

The Franklin Chef 149453 Pilot Safety Valve with Reducer Bush IN/OUT regulates gas flow to the pilot assembly and automatically shuts off the supply if the pilot flame turns out. It operates through a temperature-sensitive mechanism that responds to heat from the pilot flame, allowing gas to pass only when ignition conditions are maintained. This component is typically installed within the gas control section of commercial cooking equipment, connecting inlet and outlet fittings through the 1/2" x 3/4" FPT configuration. The included reducer bush adapts the connection size for compatibility with particular gas line setups in similar foodservice appliances.
