Description

The White Rodgers 25M47P Gas Solenoid Valve 24V operates by using an electromagnetic coil that responds, to electrical input to open or close the gas passage. The internal plunger moves within the coil housing to regulate flow through the 3/8" port by shifting between activated and deactivated states. An electric signal generates a magnetic field that actuates the plunger, while a spring-return mechanism restores the closed position when power is removed maintaining controlled gas shutoff within the assembly. The valve is installed in gas control lines of commercial heating or cooking equipment to manage fuel supply and burner assemblies.
