Description

The Jade Range 8800000023 Safety Thermostat is a high-limit, automatic-reset, 450°F thermostat featuring a 5/16” x 3-1/2” sensing bulb and 36” capillary. It is used to measure the temperature at the point of installation and responds when the set temperature is exceeded. It is placed in the temperature sensing zone of the appliance and is connected to the heating circuit. If too much heat is applied, it will break the circuit and prevent further heating. It may then close the circuit, providing thermal protection within the equipment, when the temperature reaches the proper reset point.
