The Anets P8903-22 Armored Thermopile with PG9 Adapter is a flame-sensing and power generation module for use with compatible gas-fired cooking equipment. It has a 36-inch lead and an adapter to transfer the heat from the pilot flame to a 750-millivolt electrical signal that activates gas controls. It is installed in the pilot assembly to ensure ignition, and continued gas valve operation when a stable flame is present. This thermopile is an essential part of the appliance system. It is often replaced when the pilot signal strength drops or ignition decreases.
