The Delfield 000-BNH-0030-S Refrigerator Evaporator Drip Pan Assembly 20" L X 4-5/8" W X 3" is to collect the condensation that runs off the heating coils during the cooling cycle. When the unit is in chill mode, the water is directed into this basin to ensure that the liquid does not settle on the floor of the cabinet or on delicate parts of the internal parts. This set will be directly below the vaporizer coil housing in the cooling compartment to provide a drainage route. It provides a storage space for wastewater until it is directed to the external evaporation drain line.
