The Southbend 1008747 Burner Orifice 47 operates through the regulation of the gas flow into the burner so that the correct quantity of fuel can flow into the burner through its accurately sized opening to be burned. The rate of burning fuel is accurate on the diameter of the orifice through which the gas passes and affects the nature of the flames during operation.
