Description

The Southbend PP-644 Stem Valve regulates fluid movement by shifting an internal shaft as the control knob is rotated. This movement changes the valve opening allowing the connected passage to open, close, or adjust flow according to the selected position. The assembly is installed in the plumbing or control section of compatible commercial cooking equipment with the operating knob accessible from the outside. Its 10-24 threads form the specified stem connection while the 1-1/2" stainless steel frame contains the valve mechanism. A round phenolic knob provides the manual control surface allowing the valve position to be changed during equipment operation
