The TurboChef TBCFRE-1052 Top RTD utilizes a resistance temperature detector that adjusts its electrical resistance according to the surrounding heat levels. This resistance signal is constantly transmitted to the oven’s control system, enabling precise measurement and monitoring of internal temperature conditions. The support tracks heat variations in the upper section of the cooking chamber to support controlled thermal regulation during operation. It is installed inside assemblies, typically positioned in the top area of the heating cavity where direct temperature sensing is required for system feedback and operation control.
