Description

The TurboChef TBCFRE1052 Top RTD utilizes a resistance temperature detector that adjusts its electrical resistance according to temperature changes within the oven. As the temperature at the sensing point increases or decreases, the sensor produces a corresponding resistance signal that is transmitted to the oven’s control system for precise temperature monitoring. This allows the system to continuously track heat conditions in the upper section of the cooking chamber and adjust heating output accordingly. Typically positioned at the top of the oven cavity, where accurate air and chamber temperature measurement is required for controlled operation.
