The Montague V-2EA Pilot Safety Valve W/1/2" FPT 1/4" CCT controls gas flow to the burner by using a safety mechanism that keeps the valve open except when proper pilot heat is detected. If the pilot flame goes out, the internal safety system closes the valve to stop gas flow and prevent unburned gas from entering the appliance. This pilot safety valve integrates into the gas control line of compatible cooking equipment, featuring connections that facilitate monitoring of flame presence during operation.
