The Star Mfg Z4609 Thermocouple 24" is a safety system installed in commercial cooking equipment to confirm that the flame is on. Step1: Shut off gas supply and ensure the appliance is completely cool and secure.

Step2: Remove the access panel to reach the existing thermocouple assembly.

Step3: Carefully disconnect the old thermocouple from the gas valve and mounting point.
