The ROYAL RANGE 1002 Range Flange Nut 1/8" MPT X 3/16" CCT regulates the flow of gas in the pilot assembly by enabling it to be manually adjusted with its threaded connection and internal metering passage. By rotating the adjustment nut the opening that controls the flow of fuel gas is adjusted, allowing ignition and settling of the flame during operation. The valve has a 1/8 inlet with a 1/8 inlet pipe made of MPT and a 3/16 CCT outlet to fit standard pilot tubing. Its design can allow steady operation of pilots in gas appliances and range.
