Description

The Imperial 1607 Rock Broiler Single Pilot Valve is designed to adjust the gas to the ignition burner by adjusting the pressure with an internal adjustment mechanism. It is a valve that is fitted in the pilot gas line of commercial broilers that connects the gas supply to the pilot assembly. It has a 1/8" MPT inlet and 3/16" CCT outlet and is made to fit into gas systems which are used in foodservice cooking equipment where the pilot operation should be regulated to make sure the burner is functioning properly and to control the flame.

Step1: Shut off the gas supply and allow the equipment to cool completely before servicing.

Step2: Remove the old pilot valve by disconnecting the tubing connection carefully.

Step3: Apply approved gas-rated thread sealant to the threaded fitting if required.

Step4: Install the new pilot valve securely and reconnect the pilot tubing without overtightening.

Step5: Restore the gas supply slowly, check all fittings with a leak-detection solution, and test pilot flame adjustment for proper operation.

  • What maintenance is required for the Imperial 1607 Adjustment Pilot Valve?

Check the valve regularly for gas leaks, dirt accumulation, and wear around the adjustment mechanism. Keep fittings clean and properly tightened to ensure safe operation. Periodic operational testing can maintain accurate pilot control and prevents performance issues in gas systems.

  • What are common issues with the Imperial 1607 Adjustment Pilot Valve?

    • Gas leakage from worn seals or loose fittings.
    • Stiff or unresponsive adjustment control.
