The Garland 1292800 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit protects commercial equipment by interrupting power to the heating system, if the oil temperature rises beyond the proper operating limit. It uses a 2-1/4-inch bulb to sense fryer oil temperature and is normally rated to activate at 425°F, supporting the prevention of overheating during operation. Designed with a 1/2-inch MPT connection, the part is installed in the fryer's temperature sensing position to monitor heat conditions continuously. It is commonly used during routine maintenance and servicing to support proper fryer operation.
