Description

The Franklin Chef 148874 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit operates as an automatic protection control that shuts off the heating system when oil temperature reaches an unsuitable level. Equipped with a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb and calibrated to activate at 425°F it continuously monitors oil temperature to support preventing excessive heat buildup. The part features a 1/2-inch MPT connection for installation in the designated sensing location on compatible commercial fryers, allowing accurate temperature detection during operation. It is commonly installed during routine maintenance and servicing to support safe and consistent fryer performance.
