2038-9
The Montague 2038-9 Air Shutter is used to control combustion by changing the air opening that combines with gas before ignition to allow the flame to be established with a regulated proportion of air to fuel. The size of the intake is adjusted by rotation or positioning of the shutter, which varies the amount of primary air that reaches the burner. The element is fitted on the venturi of the burner of compatible gas cooking equipment, which connects to standard burner fittings and is clamped down when installed.
