Description

The APW 56743 Thermostat establishes an adjustable temperature control point for heating equipment. The thermal changes reach the sensing bulb, initiating a response that travels through the capillary to the switching section. The bulb measures 1/4" across and 5-9/16" along its length, whereas the capillary extends 72". The selectable range covers 100°-550°F, and KA identifies the type. When the sensed condition reaches the preset setting, internal contacts change state, altering electrical continuity through the heater circuit and controlling heat passage.
