The Dean 806-0179 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit operates as an overheating control that supports protecting a commercial system by shutting off the heating circuit when oil reaches an unfit level. Built with a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb and a 425°F high-limit setting, it responds to excessive heat to support reducing the probability of overheating. The 1/2-inch MPT threaded fitting allows the part to be installed properly in the designated thermostat port for continuous temperature sensing during fryer operation.
