The Frymaster 8060179 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit controls the temperature of cooking oil and shuts off the heating circuit when the temperature is sensed at the set safety limit. The sensing element will change the electrical contacts to shut the connected heating system when the temperature reaches the limit. It has been constructed with a 2-1/4" sensing bulb and a high limit setting of 425°F to allow control of excessive temperatures for commercial frying operations. The 1/2" MPT threaded connection can be securely installed in compatible fryer assemblies to provide accurate thermal response and continuous temperature monitoring.
